Born in New Jersey and raised in Jesup, Georgia, Bishop Raymond Burch is a devoted servant of God with a remarkable history of leadership and ministry. He dedicated 20 years to serving in the United States Army and has shared a blessed marriage with Rev. Lorna Burch for twenty-seven years. Together, they are the proud parents of three adult children and have nurtured many spiritual children across their ministry.


Upon surrendering his life to Christ, Bishop Burch has become a powerful vessel for God, ministering in diverse roles with dedication and passion. He is an Ordained Bishop within the Church of God and holds a Doctorate of Ministry in Theology from Life Christian University. His extensive ministry experience includes pastoring at the Sunset Family Worship Center and River of Life Church in Georgia. He has also served as the Multicultural Ministries Coordinator for South Georgia, founded and led the Southeast Georgia Bible Institute, and completed two terms on the South Georgia State Council.


Bishop Burch currently serves on the Church of God Care Board and the World Missions Board, and in 2024, he was reappointed as the Administrative Bishop of New Jersey. In this role, he oversees sixty congregations, providing spiritual guidance and leadership to the region. He recently released his book, Struggling with Starting, which reflects his deep and heartfelt passion for mentoring others on their journey.


Outside his ministry, Bishop Burch enjoys exercising, fishing, watching football (Go Dawgs!), and following UFC fights. His life and work continue to be a source of inspiration to those he serves.
