Born in New Jersey and raised in Jesup, GA, Bishop Burch has served 20 years in the United States Army.  He is married to Rev. Lorna for twenty-six years and they are the parents of three adult children and many spiritual children.  Upon committing his life to Christ, he has been used by God to minister in various capacities.  He is an Ordained Bishop with the Church of God and has an earned Doctorate of Ministry in Theology from Life Christian University.  He enjoys exercising, watching football “Go Dawgs”, UFC fighting and fishing. He has a vast ministerial background including being the Lead Pastor of Sunset Family Worship Center and River of Life Church in Georgia. He also served as South Georgia’s Black Ministries Coordinator, Founder and Lead Instructor of Southeast Georgia Bible Institute and a member of the South Georgia State Council.  At the 2022 General Assembly, Bishop Burch was reappointed as the Administrative Bishop of New Jersey to lead sixty congregations.
