Born in New Jersey and raised in Jesup, GA, Bishop Raymond Burch has dedicated 20 years of his life to serving in the United States Army. He has been married to Rev. Lorna Burch for twenty-seven years, and together they are the proud parents of three adult children, along with many spiritual children.

Upon committing his life to Christ, Bishop Burch has been mightily used by God to minister in various capacities. He is an Ordained Bishop with the Church of God and holds an earned Doctorate of Ministry in Theology from Life Christian University. His extensive ministerial background includes serving as the Lead Pastor of Sunset Family Worship Center and River of Life Church in Georgia. Additionally, he has served as South Georgia’s Black Ministries Coordinator, Founder and Lead Instructor of the Southeast Georgia Bible Institute, and a two term member of the South Georgia State Council.

In his leisure time, Bishop Burch enjoys exercising, watching football (Go Dawgs!), UFC fighting, and fishing. 

In recognition of his leadership and dedication, Bishop Burch was reappointed at the 2022 General Assembly as the Administrative Bishop of New Jersey, where he currently leads sixty congregations.
